Jira Automation for pull request merged is not working

Hi Everyone 

I recently started using an Azure DevOps for Jira Pugin to be able to see Pull Requests on our Jira tickets. That worked out fine and I now tried to establish an automation rule, to automatically move jira tickets from status 'Code Review' to 'Testing' as soon as the PR is merged. I watched a few videos to set up the automation rule, but I can not get it to work. There's also no entries in the log of the automation or anything.

I just can not figure out why it is not working. Can anyone give me a hint, please?

Please contact with add-on vendor to confirm if Automation for Jira is working with it. I didn't find anything that app is compatible with Automations actions.

Adding to Sebastian's answer...

Integration with Azure DevOps is not natively supported with Jira Cloud.  Please see this suggestion to add that, with a search link to the marketplace for addons: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-20460
