Kanban board issue after deleting a user

Juan Porta April 23, 2021

Hello everyone,

I recently removed a user from Jira and a week later I got feedback from our Product team that one of the boards was behaving differently (showing issues that should not be there). It is my understanding that shared filters remain after removing a user, and since the audit log won't show configuration changes my question is: is there a relationship between deleting a user and this behavior? Or could have it been something else?

Thanks!

Removing a user from a JIRA instance should not remove shared filters created by that use nor otherwise alter those shared filters.

So, it is necessary to confirm that the issues really "shouldn't" be included in the board. If this is not a Team Managed project/board, then the board is showing content based on the filter. There is something about those issues that put them within scope for the board filter, either because the issues changed or because the filter changed.
