Linking Open Issues To a Completed One?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to link an open issue to one that is completed?  Basically, during the course of a current release, we create Tasks for the team to conduct post implementation testing for the previous release, so I would like to be able to link these tasks to the original bugs/stories that were deployed/completed.

Thank you for reaching out.

To properly link an open issue to a completed one, you can follow the steps below:

1 - Navigate to the completed issue you want to link > Copy its issue key (ABC-123)

2 - navigate to the open issue you want to link > Click to Link issue > Paste the key you copied from the completed issue in the Linked issues drop-down and click Link:

P.S: The Linked issues drop-down will not display the completed issue if you try to search for it, however, if you paste/type the exact issue key as described above, the link will work.
