Moving project internally in an instance

HaRsHaS' V December 4, 2022

We would like to move over from a scrum board to a kanban board. The scrum board has a custom filter. So, How do we move the data from the scrum board to the kanban board? I had 2 thoughts.

1. Move the issues using the move option in Jira (Is it possible to bulk move)?

2. Use the same filter in the kanban board and delete the scrum board or mark it dead.

Please advise any complications in these and any other manual methods.

You don't.

Issues do not move between boards.  A board is a view of a selection of issues, not a container for them.

Your second suggestion is the thing you will need to do.
