Team,
I have a requirement to configure a Kanban board with Nested Swimlanes. I have a Project team value and Assignee .
I need a nested swimlane like below
This first level a Team. Under Team i need Assignee. As of now in Swimlane we can use one level like i can choose Assignee. Can nested Swimlanes is configurable.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Hi @Sayi Kiran ,
Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately nested swimlanes are not available (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/)
As workaround you can setup a board for each Team with assignee swimlane for each.
Another workaround is to setup a QuickFilter associated to each Team (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-quick-filters/).
Hope this helps,
Fabio

Hi @Sayi Kiran ,
welcome to the community!
Just to add to Fabio's answer: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, there are a number of apps that support grouping issues by multiple fields, therefore creating something that is very close to nested swimlanes.
Of course, these views are different from your Kanban board (although you can of course view the same set of issues), but depending on your use case, they may be good additions.
Hope this helps,
Hannes

As an example, this is how this looks in JXL for Jira, the app that my team is working on:
(It's currently grouping by project, but you can group by any of your issue fields, including any kinds of team fields.)
