New Items move to the top of backlog automatically

Denis December 7, 2021

Hi together,

In a project I'm in, it happens sometimes to colleagues that a newly created Item moves automatically directly to the top of the backlog and not the bottom. I never had that problem, but others have that several times. Any ideas what can cause that problem?

Is it possible that you have order by priority and the new issue priority is Highest for example?

These items were medium, standard priority, and there were items on the backlog with higher priorities. But nevertheless I thought sorting of the backlog by any kind of field isn't possible? Thought, it's always ranking by ordering. //answered from my wrong account. :)

Found the option:
