I invited a 3rd party vendor to our instance and they are not able to access any project after logging in.
When I go to Administration and check the user's account I am seeing they have not logged in.
The vendor has its own Jira cloud instance and is using Gmail to login. When they click the invite email it automatically redirects them to login with their Gmail information.
Is this why I am seeing the user as "Never seen on this site"? Is there a way to bypass this?
Yes, if they also have a cloud instance and used that specific browser to log in to their instance then this is expected. I would ask the user to either use a different browser or use a incognito window to log on to your instance.
that was the first thing i asked, they did and it still re-directed them to enter their gmail credentials.
FYI - They are logging in using the invite link they received in their email.

Have them try logging out from the Atlassian account and clear their cache and see if that helps.

Thank you, I will have them try that and see if it works.....

It still did not work. Is this a bug? I feel like it should not give a prompt to authenticate with their Gmail if our instance does not use g-suite to authenticate; hence the user in our instance showing that they have not accessed the site.
This seems like a gap.....
