Next-Gen time tracking doesn't allow to provide initial time estimation

Hello.

The time tracking field in next-gen only allows to log time, not to provide an initial estimate, against which the time logged is compared (like current projects allow in their time tracking field, out of the box. Any idea if this can be resolved, or next-gen projects don't support time estimations, and this is a "feature" that will be added later, much like sub-tasks weren't considered part of their MVP?

There is a description in Jira's documentation that this should be available (see below screenshot from documentation), but it doesn't show this way for me
