No 'Classic Project' option on Create Project popup

Danny Parker May 20, 2021

This page: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/create-and-edit-a-project/ (updated April 29th 2021) states to make a classic project:

  1. Choose  Settings > Projects.
  2. Select Create project.
  3. Choose Classic project.

No 'Classic project' option shows for me.

A team member made a team-managed project and all our workflows are missing, so I'm trying to migrate using this page: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/migrate-between-team-managed-and-company-managed-projects/

Does this option still exist?

Hi Danny,

Classic Software projects have been rebranded to Company-managed projects.

So on the Create Project page, click on Jira Software on the bottom left side.

Then choose Scrum or Kanban

Then click on Use this Template

Then finally, click on Company-managed project

That works, thank you.

I've submitted feedback on the create project page based on your answer.
