Not all issues are shown on Kanban board if I set grouping in swimlanes to Epics

Bond October 9, 2019

Hello,

Custom query is the following:

project = LUNA AND issuetype != Epic AND updated >= -5d ORDER BY updated DESC

If I select swimlanes = Epics, then I do not longer see on the board the issues with no Epic assigned.

I did already tried to remove the "..AND issuetype != Epic" from JQL, but then board shows me just issues with one or two Epics, and completely ignores others (while if I just the query itself - > then I see all the issues I need).

Hi Bond,

While grouping issues using Epics as swimlanes, issues not having any Epic related will be shown in a new swimlane at the botton of the Kanban board called 'Issues without epics'.

Does not your case?

Hello Jack, let me explain the problem in more detail. See these 2 screenshots: 1st shows the board without any grouping - OK, you can see 3 issues there and 2 of them have different epics assigned. Now, if I switch to group by epics - see 2nd screenshot, you (very surprisingly) just see issues without assigned epics only.
