Personalization text of invitation email

Dominik Schimanski October 7, 2021

When inviting new users to Jira, there is an option where one can personalize the text of the inviting email.

Unfotunately the text in the email will be displayed as one single block of text, without any paragraphs or empty new lines to make the text easier to read.

When entering the text while preparing the invitation, a hit on the enter key will create a new line, even empty lines are displayed but this will not be displayed in the email the invited person receives.

In our Jira configuration we set html as the format of mails, but various options of html formatting in the personalized text still did not lead to the breaking of a line.

The option to use a configured invitation text in the settings is not possible, because we have different invitaton texts for different users.

Does anynone know how to achieve a structure in the text of an invitation email when sending personalized invitations? Getting the breaks of lines in the text would make it far more readable.

Thanks in advance!
