Powershell with Jira Service Desk

I regularly get confused as do others about Jira vs Service Desk.

I'm looking to automate the opening of tickets through the Service Desk, NOT Jira and Kanban boards, etc...

Is this module (JiraPS) for service desk? https://github.com/AtlassianPS/JiraPS

If not, is there a powershell module for it?

Hello @Dietrich Lehr ,

From what I can read by opening the given link and, from there, the JiraPS documentation, it looks like is using the Jira Core Cloud REST API endpoints to interact with Jira Core:

As you can see, their documentation is explicitly pointing to the  Jira Core Cloud REST API documentation.

Therefore, JiraPS does not seem to include methods to interact with Jira Software and Service Desk via REST API:

Finally, if the difference between Jira Core, Software and Service Desk is not clear I strongly advise to review below links:

I hope this helps

Cheers,
Dario
