Query to get the timespent on an issue for a priod of time (week/month)

Amel LAOUINI November 24, 2021

Hello,

Am trying to build a Query on jira cloud to get the times logged by the project team on a given week or  month.

But when i execute the Jquery below:

project = XXXX AND worklogDate >= startOfMonth(-1) AND worklogDate < startOfMonth(0) ORDER BY assignee DESC, updated DESC, created DESC

I get the same result in timespent and totaltimespent which give me the total time logged on the issue and not only the logged time for the last month.

Have anyidea how to proceed to get only the loggedtimes for a month or a week?

Thank you for your help!

Hi @Amel LAOUINI

If you would be interested in a third party app to get this data, you can try out our plugin.

You can get total time spent on an issue per week and month as well.

Agile Tools : Epic Tree, Links Tree, Time in Status & Worklogs

The app provides the following features.

Worklogs & Time tracking Report :- Track time spent by resources with multiple filters / category / grouping features. Export to csv format is also available. You can filter based on worklogs time period as well.

Along with this there are multiple other features like Time in Status, Links Hierarchy, Epic Hierarchy etc which the app provides.

Thank you. But we don't use third party apps especially those that come with a price :(
