Two of our active projects got deleted yesterday (9/Jun/2020) by one of our team member, accidentally. Unfortunately can't find in trash as well. These projects had stories, tasks and bugs, actively being used by client as well for logging issues/bugs and dev team working in coordination.
Need help from Atlassian team/experts, please help restore the backup from 8Jun or 7/Jun.
It will be a great help.
regards,
Rajesh
Hi Rajesh,
it is very likely that your Jira System Administrator has a reliable backup in place.
What you could do is ask her/ him to restore the backup in the test environment and you can then use a Configuration Manager ( Botron) to migrate the project back into production.
You could also restore the entire backup directly into production, but with the risk that you might lose data that were created AFTER the backup was created.
Let us know if it helps!
Cheers
Aline

Hi @Rajesh Dubey ,
Please keep in mind for future cases that Atlassian recently introduced the trash feature for projects. It will keep deleted projects and its issues in trash for 60 days. So that you can recover a deleted project in 60 days.
However, if you delete only the issues, the deleted issues are lost forever. For that specific need, our team at Bloompeak built Restore Deleted Issues app. It keeps track of when and who deleted the issues. You can view and restore summary, description and comments except attachments.
