Is it possible to add additional user info fields to a user profile such as a phone number?
Hi @Scott Federman - If you're open to using a Marketplace app, I would like to share a potential solution that may help in this scenario - MindPro Sync
This plugin allows you to integrate OKTA, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 or OneLogin external data with Jira and JSM and retrieve your user attributes (e.g - phone, location, department, etc..), map them in Jira custom fields and display this data directly Jira issues or JSM requests (and portal).
The app is free for up to 10 users and if you would like to get a quick demo, just schedule here.
All the best,
Eduardo from MindPro team.
Hello @Scott Federman ,
thank you for your question.
May I suggest to use our new Cloud app User Profiles for Jira as it enables you to display additional information to Jira issues automatically and accelerates collaboration in distributed teams. The integration of Azure AD with Jira Software and Jira Service Management enables you to easily automate workflows and process issues more quickly. After efficiently doing the setup and creating the configuration with ease, attributes from Azure AD will be fetched and displayed automatically. Join our customers and enjoy these benefits:
