Hi everyone,
I am looking for ways where a new Jira issue is created/updated via email replies from external partners with no Jira account. For example, my team sends out or receives an email to/from external parties; that email contains a unique identifier from our case management tool. When we receive replies on that email thread, can those be added as comments to a Jira issue?
I am thinking of some sort of Power Automate with M365. Any suggestions on what I can do?
You can configure email handlers so that incoming emails generate new issues or link to an existing one. Hi mm05293,
Have you heard about Email This Issue? It's a powerful, widely configurable Jira app available in both Cloud and Server/DC platforms for almost any need regarding email processing.
Please read the docs and contact the support, if you have further questions!
Best,
Márton
