Hi guys,
I'm planning to test/trail Smartsheet and Harvest for my team and wanted to know if anyone has used both?
Which one's best for Resource management? Our main priority would be managing resources and their schedules.
Please let me know your thoughts
Hello @[deleted] ,
I've heard great comments about both tools so you can definitely try them both.
However, if you're already using Jira, you can try something that is already integrated with Jira out-of-the-box.
My team develops ActivityTimeline for Jira which is one of the most popular Resource Management & Capacity Plannings apps on Atlassian Marketplace.
We have also provide built-in Timesheets & Resource Utilization reports, as well as many additional functionalities, like individual capacities and the aggregation to the team level, vacation & holiday tracking that also influences the workload calculation, you also get the possibility to add virtual resources that will have their own capacities.
On top of that, soon we recently released a comprehensive integration with Advanced Roadmaps so we can sync scheduled tickets as well as teams between 2 tools, additionally, our tool also integrates with other popular apps like BigPicture or Tempo Timesheets and many more.
