We have a website where we want to add a Login screen.

Could our users authenticate using their Jira account to get access to our website?

I read that SAML single sign-on is available when you subscribe to Atlassian Access. But with this, Jira would be the service provider (not the identity provider). We would like to use Jira as the identity provider. Is it possible somehow?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Pedro,

Unfortunately you cannot use JIRA as an Identity Provider.

However, you can use miniOrange as an Identity Provider and integrate your website or JIRA with it. You can use this plugin for configuring IDPs and for additional security features like User Provisioning, Single Logout, Emergency Backdoor URL and much more.

P.S- I work for miniOrange, feel free to reach out to us at atlassiansupport@xecurify.com
