Can a new tab be added to the "activity" Group?

We are looking to add a custom field to a different area then the main body of the ticket.  The thought was adding an additional tab.  Don't know if that is feasible

hi @Danielle Cantrell , if I understand you correctly, the simple answer is Yes :) You can do it via your screen configuration. Eventually check the documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/defining-a-screen-776636475.html and "Configuring a screen's tabs and fields" chapter.

Martin,  Thank you for the suggestion.  Although it is not in the activity tab as John mention, your solution did work for my developers

Hey Danielle,

If I understand you correctly, the answer is no. It's not just a tab on the screen but it's in an area controlled by Atlassian.
