We are looking to add a custom field to a different area then the main body of the ticket. The thought was adding an additional tab. Don't know if that is feasible
hi @Danielle Cantrell , if I understand you correctly, the simple answer is Yes :) You can do it via your screen configuration. Eventually check the documentation https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/defining-a-screen-776636475.html and "Configuring a screen's tabs and fields" chapter.
Martin, Thank you for the suggestion. Although it is not in the activity tab as John mention, your solution did work for my developers
