Change order issue status

How can i change the order in the issue status? Would like to start with "in progress" instead of "closed?

If you actually meant the workflow status change trigger button i.e., transition buttons, have a look at the opsbar sequence mentioned in https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-workflow-properties/

Where are you looking to have these statuses reordered? Are you thinking filter results, or transitions, the workflow preview, or somewhere else?
