My organization currently handles login to Jira using our emails associated with our Google Workspace account. So when a user arrives at our company Jira site, they click on Login with Gmail and are logged in.
Our organization is change our email address and service provider. When I try to change my CURRENT email address in Jira to my TARGET email address, it sends me the verification email to my TARGET email address as expected.
When I click on the verify link, it asks me for my password. I provide it the password I use to login to my Gmail as there is no "password" associated with my Jira account since it is connected to Google.
What do I do?
Ah, I figured it out. I had to manually add my company email to which then it offered me to provide a new password. I think I figured it out.
Sorry, can u explain what you did exactly to fix this. I am in exact same situation and unable to resolve.
