Committed Tickets in a Sprint.

I have been analysing the committed Throughput of teams to assess the effectiveness of the planning they do.  This data has been useful for showing teams how much they over commit and start conversations about how to change the way they work and break work down to become more effective.

The current way I am doing this is by counting the tickets in the sprint report without an '*' as these would've been added after the sprint start.

I would like to get to a more automated way by exporting in to Excel/Google sheets and looking for a field or identifier that shows it was a committed ticket, not one added during the sprint.

I have looked in to EazyBi, exporting to google sheets and the current sprint reports.  The issue is that it does show the Committed but then for the done there is no separation between committed or added during the sprint.

There must be something that enables Jira to know the difference for the sprint report, but is it available for analysis elsewhere?

Hi,

In eazyBI, there are new metrics related to completed of committed work.

You may see them used in a sample report: Story points commitment completion
