Copy an Outlook email to an issue

Simple, hopefully. I want to copy an entire email from outlook into a Jira Issue.  The best would be some form of drag and drop to create the issue. However, I would settle for just being able to include the entire email in a description.

I have successfully copied an email but all images that were embedded in the email are dropped.

What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I understand ... You can work with a Jira integration (s. here) to save time copy-pasting email contents and you can also take over images and formattings from your Outlook emails.

Jira Cloud for Outlook app (built by Atlassian) has a feature called "Send to Issue"

You can send a specific email to and issue of choice, including attachments

Then, in the issue itself, you'll find your attachments in the "Attachments" of an issue and your email card (expandable) in "Attached emails" section.

And when you click on the specific card, you'll see a modal pop open with an email body and attachments related to that particular emal.
