Hello,
We are migrating from ASANA to JIRA using csv import. We are able to correctly map the Task Create Date but other dates are not working e.g. Task Close / Done dates are not working.

I suppose they are process dates generated by the system. Did you try mapping to the Date Resolved field? That's the corresponding system field in Jira.
Yes we tried that but it is not working.
Also when we change the state to "Done", it strikes off the ticket id in Jira. But this is not happening on the task that was migrated with status "Done".
Aha, I know the reason for the strike off thing and to why your import is failing: Date Resolved is linked to setting the value of the resolution field.
Resolution and status are 2 different things. And when distinguishing between Open and Closed issues, this is based on resolution, not status. So is the strikethrough of the issue key.
What you'll need to do is specify a value for resolution in your csv file for tasks having the Done/Closed status. "Done" will most likely be the best option. In your import, map that column to the resolution field and you should be fine.

Also is it possible to see the "Resolved / Done" date. We have mapped this value to "Date Resolved" during mapping. But we are not able to see the Closed Date / Resolved date after migration.
I just noticed that the resolved field is indeed not visible on the new issue view in Jira Cloud. There's a couple of ways to make it visible, but I guess the most effective to check your migration results is through a search.
Project = XX AND Resolution != Unresolved
Project should be the name of the project you imported, obviously. This will show all issues that have a value for resolution.
Then make sure you add the Resolution column to your results view (search and select under columns:
That should give you an overview of all imported resolution dates.

Hello Walter,
Thanks that worked.
Also is it possible to see the "Resolved / Done" date. We have mapped this value to "Date Resolved" during mapping. But we are not able to see the Closed Date / Resolved date after migration.
