I have noticed sometimes we have double accounts in our Jira environment.
Although accounts are based on e-mailaddress I noticed an account with the initials and an account with the e-mailaddress as the username.
Is there a posibility somewhere within Jira to merge these profiles, so that open and closed tickets are visible within the same account again?
Hi @Q-network - Did you ever get this resolved?
One reason to see two accounts for same user:
1. First, user account has been created manually in Jira
2. Atlassian Access "User provisioning" would have enabled in later stage.
Now, you can see two accounts for same user.
How to delete one account?
You Organization admin has access to see User list (this is different than the User list that Site admins see). So, please reach out to Organization admin for help.
In Org admin User list in admin.atlassian.com portal, you want to delete the manually created account. For User provisions accounts from Azure AD or any other IDP, you can see a warning in the User details that it can be modified only in Azure AD, not in Jira.
Best of luck!

Thank you.
Going back to one account, either the manual one or the provisioned one isn't the problem.
There have been activities in both accounts and now I want to merge them, so that all activities are present within the account and not divided over 2 accounts.
