Due dates changing to January on page refresh

The due dates for our Stories/Epics/Tasks change to January on page refresh. Is there a setting we can change to fix this or is this a bug?

Example:

We set the due date for an epic to 10/3/2020. When we refresh the page the due date is 1/3/2020.

This doesn't happen in our instance - I tested on both Next-Gen and Classic.

Could you confirm:

• Is this Classic or Next-Gen?
• Your date format - is it MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY ?
• Where you're setting the due date? On a board? On a card view?

Screenshots of before and after refresh would be very beneficial here :)

(I realize this is a month old and may have been solved, but hopefully this answer will help someone else later on)

I was dealing with this very problem myself today. In our case, the cause was a misconfiguration of the Date Picker and Date Time Picker values in Jira. If you're a Jira System administrator, you can modify/correct these under Advanced Configuration. There are 4 settings, 2 for Java and 2 for Javascript (the format is different between the two).

A great reference page for this is https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/changing-the-due-date-input-format-192536.html . While the page states it is for Jira Server 6.4, it also applies to Cloud.

I'll restate the warnings posted all over: Be Careful Changing Anything In This Section!
