I am using Easy Agile User Story Maps for JIRA.  When I click on Board > Story Map the screen hangs

Thanks for the call Kevin. For anyone else stumbling upon this:

  1. The Easy Agile User Story Maps add-on for JIRA has a system account (username: addon_com.kretar.jira.plugin.user-story-map)
  2. This user gathers issues, agile boards, etc. 
  3. This user needs to have access to the filter upon which an agile board is created, plus all projects included in that filter.

I've added a note to this effect on our Troubleshooting page.
