Hello there,

As Sreenivasaraju_P said, the "Hours per day" are different things in Jira and in Timetracker:

  • In Jira, Working hours per day in Time tracking settings influence the time format display and the meaning of the day in e.g. estimating or sprint planning. (1 day is 8 hour vs. 1 day is 6 hour, etc.)
  • In Timetracker app, the Maximum hours per day per user is a limit for the maximum loggable hours per day for Timetracker users. It is useful if you do not want to allow users to book more than X hours per day (to avoid worklogs like 30 hours for a day) and keep your worklog reports clean. Note, that this limit only applies through Timetracker screens/functions and the app should be the configured time tracking provider for the restriction to take effect.

Hi @Johany Bouchard ,

Do you want to update timetracking provided by jira or Timetracker add-on?

If you want to update timetracking provided by Jira,

Please go to below URL and click on Edit global Settings, so you can update working hours per day.

<your jira base url>/secure/admin/TimeTrackingAdmin.jspa

Hi!

Indeed, it's on the add-on that I have to change de setting. Not on the timetracking.
