Hi everyone, I am new at Jira and I have a graduation project so my team decided to organize this process on this great platform. Yesterday we made some issues (stories) and I add my teammates to the project. I started working on the first issues moving them to In progress column and hence to the Done column. However, when any one of my teammates changes these first issues on his board let's say moving an issue 'A' from To Do to In Progress and this issue 'A', I already moved it on my own board to Done. Then this change occurs to me too! I found that my done issue has moved to In progress column!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

A board is a view of a selection of issues.  An issue is always in a status, and your colleague is changing the status of it, so of course it's going to show you that on your board.  That's what Jira is for - issue tracking!

An issue should not have two different status depending on who is looking at it.  That would stop it being an issue tracker!
