You can configure separate dashboards for your teams and probably separate projects with group specific securities. So group development can access only software development projects and group marketing has access to marking projects.

Welcome . There are not predefined dashboards so you need to create them. JIRA goes with default dashboard that is common for all users. Users who are not satisfied with the default dashboard need to change it. Please check this answer https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/85924.
