project = ABC AND Sprint not in openSprints() AND Sprint not in closedSprints() AND Sprint not in futureSprints()
This query will return issues which are not included in any sprints of that project
Below query worked for me:
(project = sample
AND Sprint = empty)
OR
(project = sample
AND Sprint in (closedSprints())
AND Sprint not in (openSprints(), futureSprints()))
