When looking at my scrum board there are 3 views: Plan | Work | Report When I click on Plan at the top of the sprint is shows counts:

I would like to understand how these counts are calculated and if I can configure them. I would prefer to have counts per swimlane. We have four swimlanes, To Do, In Progress, Ready, Done. It would be much more useful if I could see the story points per swimlane.

Currently when I hover over each graphic it tells me:

Red 179 says it is Not Started

Yellowow 28 says it is In Progress

Green 80 says it is Done

Hi Rick,

The values you're seeing are related to the number of story points assigned to that sprint, and where they are in the process. The 179 points in Not Started are associated with everything in the left column. The 28 in In Progress is everything in the middle columns, i.e. all issues that are currently making their way through the workflow and are actively being worked upon. Finally the 80 in Done is all story points in the far right column. The names of those columns, and the workflow steps that are assigned to them don't change the names of the counts you're seeing.

It's not currently possible to customise the counts you see up the top there, they were designed to be as broad as possible so that they suit all purposes.

We absolutely welcome all feedback though, so please do log an issue over at href="https://jira.atlassian.com%20">https://jira.atlassian.com with your request and our developers and product managers will investigate it further. :)

Cheers,

Matt
