How to copy all comments from previous issue

Maksim Fin March 29, 2023

I have created two automation rules for creating a new issue and copying all comments from previous issue
First rule that clone issue:

And then I have created new rule that potentionally will copy all comments to a new cloned task:

But unfortunately the second rule is not triggered and not working. May someone correct my mistakes to make this rules work the way it should?

Hello @Maksim Fin ,

Automations will not trigger each other.  I'm not sure where the documentation says this, but in my own testing this has been my experience.

From a feature design perspective, it makes sense, they wouldn't want a potential endless chain of Automations running wild.
