I am using a Nextgen Project. When I am looking at issues off the backlog or search or the Boards I get the new issue view.
When we click on the notifications bell and open a ticket from the notifications panel we get the old issue view.
This is causing confusion with users and I would like to ensure the notifications show the new issue view to be consistent with the rest of the System........Is there a way to do this?
Hello,
I believe that there is not way to change it. It must be changed by Atlassian and I think it will be changed, so that the view in Jira Cloud would be consistent.
Thanks @Alexey Matveev , I figured as much but thought I would ask in case I was missing something obvious in Settings

There is a bug report for this issue here:

Are there any news on this? It loads the old view when there is a notification regarding a comment and the new view for all other notifications.
That is not only confusing but a real problem, because certain fields of next-gen projects are not shown (due date e.g.)

bump. I need this too. It's just a jarring experience that will be problematic for my new implementation.

Again: any news on this? It works SOMETIMES, but other times not. Very strange!
