How to make the field 'Security' or 'Security Level' JQL searchable

It seems to me that this field is not searcable in JQL, beacause each time I try to include it in the argument list and start a search, I get the response "Field 'Security' does not exist or you do not have permission to view it".

I have full admin permissions.

In my company we use 'Security' to distinguish our customers access to Jira Issues. Because of that it is important to have the field searchable.

Anyone else with this kind of experience? Anyone found a solution? Or is it something that needs to be directed to Atlassian?

Please try JQL:

level = "Visible to Compliance"                     

 

level is field name for Security Level
