I am getting an error while uploading a file in Jira

The error message reads as 'We couldn't save your attachment.Reload the issue then try adding it again.' Can someone please help here to solve the issue?

Hi  @Swanand Pande  and welcome to the community

Sorry to hear that you are having problems uploading attachments to Jira.

Please provide additional details like:

  1. What is the size and type of the file? Is it a zipped file, csv, mp4, etc? The default attachment size limit is 1GB, but it can be increased to 2GB:

    • Choose Administration (cogwheel) > System

    • (On the left navigation panel) Select Advanced > Attachments to open the Attachment page, which states the global attachment settings

  2. What is the issue type ? 

  3. Can you also extract the Web Developer Tools logs as a HAR file and check the exact failing API call and the response content?
