I imported a project from another cloud instance using the CSV import function. Unfortunetly, I messed up the priority mapping and because of that imported over 1600 priority values incorrectly. Is there a way to delete priority values in bulk via Jira Cloud, Scriptrunner, or some other plugin? Doing it by hand one at a time is pretty time consuming.
Thanks,
I also had the same issue. It would be great to have a bulk delete of priority fields.
I'd say it's when you import from another PM system such as Linux. I'm currently manually deleting...
Are you talking about the built-in Priority field?
The values of the built-in Priority field are managed in a global list which can be found at Admin Settings (the gear icon) > Issues > Priorities
From there you can change the text labels, colors, icons, and ordering or Priorities, as well as deleting values.
But the issues that contain the value that you want to remove will need to be updated to another valid value.

I am talking about built-in Priority field. How do you delete more then one from the list at a time? There are 1600 values in the field that the user can select from and I need to remove almost all of them and would rather not have to hit the delete button 1600 times.
Thanks!

Oh, I see. I did not fully grasp your problem.
I did not find anything in the REST API for the global priority value list other than GET commands. Nor do I see a way to delete multiple values through the UI.
