JIRA Agile Done Edit Issue

I am using a basic JIRA Agile workflow but am unable to Edit Issues (Stories) that are in previous Sprints and set to Done.  If I navigate to it, click Edit and try to enter an Actual release date, description, comment/change any field on the popup it just spins on Update and then doesnt say any validation error and the screen does not close (I have to cancel).  If I view the issue on the main detail screen in the browser it DOES let me change values.  However the problem is that the Actual Release Date field will only display it if has a value, so i cant just click on it on the main browser window, I have to bring the popup up, and then i am into this issue.

The behavior that you describe is hard to pin down, but it in my experience, this tends to be the result of an issue with a customfield that is managed by the third-party plugin.  Please try running your system in Safe Mode (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/UPM/Disabling+and+enabling+add-ons) (and re-enabling JIRA Agile), to see if that makes anything better.  If it does, you know that one of your plugins is your source.
