I've set-up an Advanced Roadmap and selected Story points as my estimation type. I can display Story points as a field on my Advanced Roadmap, but nothing displays in that column. What's really weird is, if I enter values into that column and save changes, the values actually get saved to the Story Points field on the ticket(s), but the column goes back to being empty. Am I missing something in my Jira or Advanced Roadmap configuration somewhere to get this field to display correctly?
This also appears to be happening for Scrum Boards in our Jira Instance as well. Story Points are entered on the tickets, but not displayed on the right hand side of the Backlog view; instead every ticket just shows a '-' where you'd expect the Story Points to be displayed.
The issue turned out to be that someone had set the Search Template on Story Points to None. Changing the Search Template to Number Searcher resolved the issue.
