We would like to utilize the Jira Custom Reports with our Custom fields for productivity tracking and reporting.
The issue is that it seems that the reporting is based on pre-set fields such as "STORY POINTS."
We have a custom field that we call "Widget Counts," and it operates similarly to STORY POINTS; however, it is primarily created to fit the organization's business needs.
Is there a way to alter the STORY POINTS fields to utilize the Widget Counts fields?
Hi @Kyle Sheng
As @Kit Friend suggested, while the built-in charts improve, you can use apps like Custom Charts, eazyBI, xCharts, and more. There is a variety of apps in the Charts & Diagramming category, and you can pick the right one based on the complexity of your needs. Almost any solution will help you resolve your "custom" custom field challenges.
As marketing manager of Custom Charts for Jira, I may suggest you take a close look at the app's Playground:

It's the easiest way to see if it's a good fit :)
You're often pretty limited with native reports tbh - this will likely improve over time as the Chartio acquisition gets factored in: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/announcements/atlassian-acquires-chartio
In the short term, www.screenful.com is a great solution that's very customisable. Also worth exploring:

To actually track productivity you arguably need a sense of outcome (i.e. value realised) as well as "things done" - for that you need to bring in data from what happened. Something like www.gtmhub.com or Jira Align is best for that.
