Jira Powerup in Trello no longer works

I've had the Trello powerup for Jira working for years but now all of a sudden it no longer works. When I go through the process to re-authorize inside Trello, I get stuck in an authorization loop. So I type in the Jira URL, which then shows the connecting screen that ends with the Authorize button (again). Click that and it takes me to the dialog where I type in the URL. Hence the loop.

Did something change? I don't want to delete the powerup as it may break all existing linkages. As of now the old card links seem to be half working. There is an attachment, but no longer shows the status (e.g. green for done).

I submitted a support request to Trello and I got the following response:

We have identified a bug with our Jira Power-Up and our development teams are actively working to fix this alongside our Jira development team. I do not have an ETA for when this will be resolved but will keep you in the loop with any updates as soon as I receive them. We're sorry for the inconvenience this causes you and thank you for your patience while we work through this!
