Good day!
Is it possible to add a label custom field on Jira Software Screens?
Something like this in the image below? it would look like a divider to avoid confusion for the fields with the same name.
Thank you!
"Label" isn't a good word to use for this - labels in Jira are free-form text that people can put on to issues for whatever reason they want.
You are looking for static text. This can be done with "message" fields - if you go to admin -> custom fields -> create custom field, then choose to list "all" or "advanced", you should see "message field (for edit)" and "message field (for view)". You need to be aware that "for view" means literally just the issue view, and "for edit" means any screen where you get to directly edit (not inline) fields - create, edit and transition screens.
With these, you put stuff into their default and it appears on the screen when you put the field on a screen (the fields contain no issue data, they just echo text out).
TIL I learned about message fields. Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-

Hi @VJ ,
First of all, welcome to the community!
Label fields in Jira are more like tags in other software, they are not intended as headlines or dividers on a screen.
Out of the box, Jira does not allow for many (or any) design options on the issue screen, but there are quite a few apps in the Marketplace that may be of use.
Hope that helps,
Oliver
