what is the diffrence between a component , a task and a sub task?

Hi there Hosam,

 

Components are a way to categorize issues. Think of them like separating parts of a development project (component A is UI and component B is development). Tasks are an issue type in Jira. Sub-tasks are also an issue type, but they can be associated with parent tasks and handled in different ways in Jira, depending on your configuration and add-ons.
