Order by rank, but re-ranking closed & in progress tickets on a Kanban board

Hi there!

We are currently providing an export from Jira into Excel with the tickets "ORDER By Rank ASC"

The challenge we have is that the tickets that are either in progress or closed, arent appearing on the "backlog" view of the kanban board, so Im not really sure how we can change rank priority of all the tickets listed.

Any suggestions how we can do this?

ok - worked out a way.  

I created a brand new board, used the same filter for it, then moved ALL statuses into the "Backlog" view. 

This way, the PO can now see all tickets listed in the Backlog view, ordered by priority.

Job Done!
