Hello,
As a PM, I am trying to create new board to clients for UAT period so they can raise the bugs in JIRA and it can be easier to follow. However they should not see the other projects. I've checked the previous answers and did everything but still I have a problem.
I completed these steps
-Create new Project
-Create new group for external users
-Add user to this group ( I added my gmail account for test)
-Create new permission scheme
-Grant permission to this group
-Assign the scheme to the project
When I try my gmail account I can still see the all projects, the weird part is if I remove " browse permission" I can still see all projects but external project.
Not sure what I can do more, can you help me what I missed ?
Thanks
Hi Aysegul,
I guess you added external users into other role/group. You can try Permission helper to figure out which addition role/group external users were added to.
Regards,
Bob
Hey Bob,
Thanks for the reply. I checked Permission helper and you are right, my external account can see everything even if I add it only external user group.
I also see that this statement "Any logged in user has this permission" ( Application access) I guess this is the reason. I have a admin right but I could not find application access section to change it.
Regards.
A.
