Project deleted through app not in trash

One of our project admins deleted a project via the app by mistake.

Now the project still in the Manage projects list, but all the issues are gone. and the project is not in trash to restore.

Checked the Project settings >permissions ... the settings are blank.

As the project is not there in the trash, the only possible way to retrieve it is to contact Atlassian Cloud Support http://www.atlassian.com/support. They generally maintain the backup and share on request. It is up to you to restore the instance and get back your project from it.

looks like the user deleted the issues not the project itself. So Atlassian support helped to restore the DB and that fixed the issue

Good to know, @Swamy Natarajan . This is better than deleting the project :)
