Hi,
I am not able to create a ticket from an email using the Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in. Secondarily, type-ahead is not working on any of the lookup fields (where the field has a list of values and you have to choose one from the list). Please see screen shot and advise.
Regarding the Environment field. I was able to reproduce the issue and created a bug in our backlog. I'll let you know once this is fixed. Thanks for reporting this!
Regarding the first issue with lookup fields. I just tested it and i couldn't reproduce it, it works for me. Could you please provide more details about your environment? What Outlook client do you use and on which platform?
Outlook WEB/Outlook on PC/Mac/Android/iOS?
Also, if this is a desktop app, is it Outlook 2013/2016/2019?
Hi again @Nancy Stronczek
We've fixed a bug with Environment field. Could you please try to create issue again and confirm that it works now?

@Vitalii Saienko , I tested again and yes, the Environment field is now free-form text. I was able to create the Jira issue from the email.

I think I found the issue with the lookup fields. They're case-sensitive, whereas in Jira they're not case-sensitive. See screen shots below.

As for platform, I'm doing this from my Windows 10 desktop.
* Outlook from MS Office 365 Office Plus, Version 1908 (Build 11929.20300 Click-to-run)

Good job @Nancy Stronczek on reporting two issues! Indeed, it was an issue with a case-sensitive search. We fixed this issue as well. Could you please give it another try and let us know if it works as expected now?

Yep, my lookup fields are now case-insensitive. Note that I only tested a few fields, like Assignee, Component, Build. Definitely not exhaustive, but just enough to get me over the finish line so that I can start using this from Outlook.
Now if only Microsoft would allow the add-ins on delegated mailboxes, my life would be so much easier. ;)
