Cant' add a child task

Dumitru Darii November 9, 2021

Hi, in the next image is described the issue:

jira_child_task.png

I have some similar tasks, for this reason, i created a new task to put in it all the similar tasks.
When i choose "add a child task", i can see just some tasks. The tasks that i want to add, are in active status (in progress).

Note! at the moment we are not wrking with epic (just task and subtasks)

@Dumitru Darii

Hi

You need to convert your task in a Subtask in order to appear as subtask in another task.

If this is your purpose, you can convert easily in ...  button in the issue

If it's not the case, you can use issue links instead.

Hi @Patricia Francezi i don't have the option like in the provided image. But i resolved this through "Move".

O_o

I just saw here in a Team Managed project, that in fact, this option is not available.

So the solution in this case is the move issues, indeed.

Is your project a Team Managed?( Formely Next-Gen)
