One of our users wants to change the mail address. The minute the user clicks on the change-link which will be provided via mail, the window in jira switches to the dashboard and not to the usual "change e-mail address" space.
If we go to that space with the user it is possible to send the "change mail link". After the user wants to confirm the new e-mail address, the window of the link will go the dashboard again.
Is there a way to bypass this request?
Hi Pierre - Have the user go here to see if they can change their password:
Hi @John Funk
thank you for the answer. The user is able to change the password with the link.
Regards,
Pierre

The email address has to be changed here for non-managed user accounts
For managed user account, please follow the link below

Hi @Pramodh M
thank you for the answer! We've already tried out this method to change the e-mail address. It sends normally the confirmation mail but as soon as the user clicks on the link to confirm the new mail address he just gets to the atlassian start page and only can start the process again.

Pierre

May be Atlassian Team can help with this to change the email address if the user is facing a problem.
Please raise a ticket and have email address changed.
Note: This is only applicable for unmanaged accounts.
Thanks,
Pramodh
