Clearing or Hiding "Done" items for project template Personal task planner

Hey,

Is it possible to clear or hide the "Done" items on the Personal task planner project template? Right now they just keep stacking up and making the page get bigger and bigger and I have explored through the settings and have found nothing.

Any insights would be appreciated!

I'm not specifically familiar with that template. I assume you want to remove these issues from your board? If so does this board have ellipses in upper right? If so then you can edit the settings and hide the older done issues. can you share screenshot?

I do not have that option. I only have a gear icon for the project settings and a filter button that I can filter based on who has the items listed.

what type of project? CMP or TMP. If CMP then is it JWM or JSW? I need a more complete view of the project screen. I would think old done issues would age off.

It looks like it is a CMP. I am not familiar with what JWM and JSW are. Sorry I am a little new to the platform. I blurred the cards as there is some non-shareable information on them. Does this help?

Hi @Jaxon Nix

JWM is Jira Work Management project template (which this project is because the items "Calendar", "Timeline", and "Forms" are on the left.

JSM is Jira Service Management  project template.

I don't see a way to hide older issues either. The "Board" is hard coded in the left panel so I assume the filter behind it is the whole project (i.e. project = abc).

@Kristján Geir Mathiesen , I have to imagine the board ages off done issues at some point. I will have to research.

@Jaxon Nix , can you assess the done issues in the done column for the oldest resolution date?

I just created this board. The oldest I have on there is done 6 days ago.

Ah ok. I fully expect they will age off after 14d. I was looking for documentation to confirm but couldn’t lay my hands on it.

@Jaxon Nix welcome back :)  I also did some testing that came to fruition 3 days ago to confirm that 14d old issues automatically age off (disappear).
